Have you built your own guitar?

How many of you have built a guitar, either from a kit or completely from scratch??

1: Did it turn out as expected.
2: Do you still own and play it.
3: Got a photo of it, if so please post a pic.
4: What make or model is it based on.
5: Would you do it again.
6: If it was a kit build, where did you get the kit from.

I've considered making one years ago when I played. I'd be interested in seeing some that people have made.

Me too.   If I had a workshop at home I would give it a go, I do like working with wood.  I'd rather build one from scratch instead of a kit, with exception of the neck.  That said I've no idea how it would turn out.

I haven't got a basement unfortunately.    I've seen some of Ken's handy work on his site. wonder if he's ever made an instrument.
