The Snark SN-1X Clip-On Guitar Tuner

is a reliable and accurate device for keeping your guitar in tune. It features a full colour display that makes it easy to read in any lighting condition, and the compact size allows you to easily clip it onto the headstock of your guitar.

One of the standout features of the Snark SN-1X is its ability to detect a wide range of pitches. It can tune guitars, basses, mandolins, banjos, and more, making it a versatile option for musicians of all stripes. The tuner also has a built-in mic for accurately detecting the pitch of your strings, as well as a vibration sensor that allows you to tune silently by simply attaching the tuner to the headstock of your instrument.

The Snark SN-1X is also very easy to use. It has a simple one-button operation, and the display shows you which string you are currently tuning, as well as the note and the degree of sharp or flatness. The tuner also has a number of different tuning modes, including standard, chromatic, and guitar/bass, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

Overall, the Snark SN-1X Clip-On Guitar Tuner is a reliable and accurate device that is perfect for keeping your guitar in tune. I have both the SN-1X and the SN-5X and they are both great little tuners to be honest.

While perusing the various models available these days I noticed they now do a rechargeable version of these neat little tuners.  https://amzn.to/3GNIhYg

Seems quite a jump in price at around £30 but I guess it's worth it, especially as I have experienced the dead tuner due to flat battery scenario myself. Although the batteries for the original Snark tuners are easily sourced and very easy to replace I like the idea of just giving it a quick charge up to get you going again.

It will work for the mean that a beginner like me can use while learning to tune by ear.
