Title: What guitar tuner do you use?
Post by: Mick on April 21, 2013, 09:47:50 AM
There's a vast amount of different makes models and types of guitar tuners out there these days.  8)

What make and model guitar tuner do you use, and why??

Myself, I use a KORG GA-1 LCD Guitar /Bass / Acoustic Digital Tuner. Why, because it works really well, really easy to use, and fairly inexpensive to buy.  In fact I just added a small review of this tuner in the gear reviews board, The KORG GA1 Digital Tuner (http://guitaristguild.com/index.php?topic=230.0)

I use the one on the amp, or built into the ME pedals - that's an ancient Digitec BP100 for the bass, and a Zoom G3X for the guitars. Also use the Fender clip on one that was free with the Squier Strat.

ooh, I haven't got one on the amp, I'm using the SWR Bass amp for practising the six string atm  :-[  Sounds nice actually, even if it is a bit clean for my liking.  It does have a output for the tuner though, so I can leave it plugged in.

I sold my Fender Squire and Marshall amp a few years ago,  :'(  I'm starting all over again, so to speak.  8)
