Interesting fact ... In Australia our phone emergency number is 000. Back in the day that was the slowest number to phone (as you waited for the dial to go all the way back to the start) :)

On a bright side, it's good there are just three digits! haha And I remember making a sudden mistake dialing something and then re-dialing the whole thing again. Man, it's good to live in 2014! ;D

By the way, have you received your new "toys" yet? :)

Even though I enjoy brick and mortar music stores, the advantages online shopping brings to the table are very hard to beat. I have bought a lot of stuff online - from picks to guitars - with almost zero hiccups. More than that, online retailers are constantly stepping up their game and coming up with new ways to improve their service. The only major advantage local music shops have is real face to face human interaction. Some of them seem to realize that and that's why they stay in the business.

They physical/tangible gear is always more enjoyable though ;)

I know what you mean! It definitely has something to do with us, humans, being physical as well. :)

At the same time digital is extremely convenient. A collection of favorite music easily fits in a phone right next to a huge pile of photos, a stack of books, an audio recorder and so much more. Who would have thought a rotary telephone could evolve that much?! ;D

Congratulations on getting some cool new gear, Scarebear! I haven't played with one yet but I'd love to.

Cool amps! I've just tried them and they're as angry as they are in the promo video. ;D I especially liked the sound of ENGL E650. Oh, and there's a neat animation of "tubes" warming up. Great job, IK!

Nice! I just used some credits for the T-RackS CS Deluxe. I have very little understanding of the tools and their full use, but I did use them to master (I use that term loosely) this track on the weekend.

The Deluxe collection is very good as well. Aside from the obvious use of the tools, the Vintage Tube Compressor/Limiter is great on the master track for "gluing" purposes. In fact, the hardware (Fairchild) IK modeled for the plugin has been used in studios all over the world literally for decades. Just like the Vintage Tube Program Equalizer (Pultec) which is great for broad strokes EQing.

Now, a pro statement - the waveform of your track looks big so the mastering process went well! ;D

Are you running it in a DAW, something like Reaper, or standalone?

Both! :) If I want to simply jam then I fire up the standalone version, but if I want to record/test something then I insert it on a Reaper track. By the way, Amplitube does wonders not just for guitars/bass but pretty much for any source you can imagine. The amount of "colors" it provides is impressive, to say the least!

@scarebear I ended up spending a big chunk of credits on T-Racks CS Grand. The effects are top-class!

I think all we need is a question,  just something simple to get the members name into the thread, so it can be entered into the draw tbh.  ;)

Alright, I've got a super simple question - "What color is IK Multimedia logo?" Or here's another one - "How did IK Multimedia name their guitar interface adapter for iOS devices?" On the other hand, if you want to raise some hot debates you can ask the all-time trickiest "How much would could a woodchuck chuck..."  ;D

Glad you're enjoying your prize.  You received your activation codes then.   ;)  I also have the Orange amp pack, and like it a lot.

I did! :D Everything went very smoothly. Thank you once again! As of amps, I also really like Slash's Marshalls. They are just terrific!

Make sure you let us know what you buy. Especially if you like it. Then I'll know what to buy next time I buy credits :)

Sure! :) I'm currently having lots of fun with Orange amps. They sound just as good as they look! Also, I'm thinking of getting the Vintage Compressors bundle. I heard IK updated them recently and people seem to like them a lot. What's good is that IK lets to try any model for 14 days prior to purchasing them. So to sum things up in a meaningful word - sweet! ;D

@scarebear thank you and that's a great question ;D One thing I know for sure - I can't go wrong no matter what I end up choosing. IK stuff is great!

2. IK Multimedia is based in Modena, Italy
3. The Moogerfoogers. All of them! ;D and the Moog Ladder Filter as a Rack FX module.
