Title: Cleaning your Guitar
Post by: Mick on September 15, 2013, 05:18:57 PM
What do you use to clean your guitar.  Just give it a buff with a microfibre cloth, give it a spray with Mr sheen ???  How do you look after your pride and joy?

Not forgetting the amp, other bits and bobs, do people actually clean those.  What with?

Good Question!

I guess it kind of matters what part of the guitar I am cleaning.

For the Strings:
http://www.thestringcleaner.com/

This product works great on cleaning your strings perfectly and getting all that built up dirt out of the guitar.

For Guitar:

I look online and see all these different "Cleaners"

My best bet so far has been slight spray of water and microfiber it off.
Works PERFECT!

I always use a cloth on my strings after playing, as i believe it lets the strings last longer, which is a good thing right!? :P And occasionally i shall very strategically use a small bicycle pump i have, to blow out the dust in the bridge and under the strings on the headstock too! works a treat!

keep on playing!   ;D
