Personally I like active pickups because I've experienced too much feedback with passive pickups.  I like cleaner and crisper sounds. 

Thus far I've only been able to get that from active pickups.  But hey, I may just 'meet' that one passive pickup that changes my mind.

Plus starting up a new side project.  Don't know when any music will be ready as I am building a practice venue and songs are only now being written but it's gonna be MUCH heavier than the 'Die Waarheid' songs.

Our bass player uses a peavey.  It's quite huge but wasn't too expensive and plays great.

I don't know about any other users of GG but I am from South Africa.  And it is a NIGHTMARE getting desired equipment here at at least a reasonable price.  I mean a set of Seymor Duncan Blackout Pickuos work out at about R3000 which is about $370 or more.

Are any of the users who have equipment companies and businesses supplying internationally?

I started this thread so everyone can share what their setup is when they play.

I've had so many different answers to this question in the past because the possibilities are basically limitless.  Another reason for asking is because I can't help but think when I'm playing that something is still missing from my setup. 

Anyway mine is as follows:

Pedal(s): Boss ME-70 and Boss OD-1
Amplifier: Roland Cube 30X
Cables: Peavey adn ROCKcable
