Hey all. I've been working on updating my website for a while now (taking a lot longer than I originally planned) and have finally finished. My website has a new URL and an all-new colour theme. Gone are the days where everything on my website needed to be black and white.

Recently I took it upon myself to take some photographs of some Lego men (I named them Steve, Dave and Jim (as you do)) just hanging around my guitar room. Before I knew it, they were installing a pickup, restringing a guitar and sorting out the order of my guitar pedals.

Although my website is currently all B&W, the images are freely available in full colour in the form of two PDF booklets. It was a bit of fun. I hope you enjoy it

They're called scary questions just because they've come from meâ€"Scarebear. They're not really scary. Either way, I put some questions to the people at Dialtone Pickups and they kindly answered. Learn more about them by reading the interview.

I don't know about you, but after reading the interview I'm keen to know more about this dust collecting pedal collection!

Dialtone Pickups begins its Kickstarter campaign tomorrow. I'll be watching. Can you imagine a guitar like a Gibson Melody Maker (single humbucker in the bridge position) with one pickup that could dial in multiple pickup tones? This could be super exciting!

Apologies if I've mentioned this already on this forum, but I thought I'd share the article series I'm working on this year as I attempt to find what could be my first ever tube amplifier head (I'm currently a solid-state man). I've just written my 18th article in the series (a nice looking little amplifier by Mooer). That's 18 different heads to date by 18 different amplifier manufacturers. If all goes to plan, by the end of the year I'd have located and written about 52 different amplifier manufacturers (with an entry level model for the likes of me).

If you've ever been to my website, you may have seen the Six Scary Questions series where I ask companies in the guitar world a series of six scary questions (they're not really) and one not-so-scary question (still not scary). Recently I approached Pro Tone Pedals who not only agreed to answer my questions, but they offered to provide the answers in video.

I've just posted the questions and the video response on my website and it's a great watch (if I do say so myself). Dennis has provided some very honest and open responses to my questions. Enjoy!

Recent posts here at Guitarist Guild have made me remember why I got into the guitar in the first place. I also have a passion for writing (not necessarily very well though). So I've combined the two into a new article series I've called Scarebear's Guitars (on account of the guitars being mine). The article series began with my Ibanez RX-20 story, moved on to the Magnum story and finds itself now at the C Giant stage of the story. I'm fairly sure this is the order I purchased the guitars. It's been a while since this story began and the details are fuzzy at best.

There will be more to come and I'll try to remember to update this thread when I get around to telling the next story.

Every good guitar should have a story. Feel free to share yours here too.

I'm also getting the expression pedal add-on so I can finally get the most out of the iOS wah/volume pedals I have. The set will look like this.



Once it arrives and I've had a chance to get some time with it I'll let you know how it is. Has anybody else here already tried it out?

I recently asked Codella Guitars a series of questions. Luckily for me they answered them! If you've never heard of Codella Guitars you really need to check them out. They've got some cool and unique features in their guitars. Such as:

• Magnetic access panel
• Flush mount pickguard
• Neck mounting plate truss rod adjustment

Randy Rhoads is still my favourite guitarist. It's rare to find decent video of him playing guitar live. This is one of my favourites.

My collection has taken over 25 years to put together. The Jackson RR3 is probably the most expensive guitar in my collection. Most others under $500 each. I'm not at the high end skill level

Most of the pedals are by Joyo and I got them one at a time cheaply on eBay. My favourite pedals are the BOSS, Pro Tone Pedals and MXR ones. Then of course I have the Fender and Marshall amplifiers. The room is full. I should probably stop now.

I've been watching your tweets for a while and thought I'd join to see what the site is actually like. So far from what I've read, it looks good. Hopefully I'll be able to peruse the site frequently
