Any tips on checking and adjusting the truss rod in your guitar, what's the secret.

How do you know if it's out?  How do check it?  How do you adjust it properly?

What do you use to clean your guitar.  Just give it a buff with a microfibre cloth, give it a spray with Mr sheen   How do you look after your pride and joy?

Not forgetting the amp, other bits and bobs, do people actually clean those.  What with?

So if you had endless amounts of cash to play with, what would be your dream rig, including your dream guitar of course? 

Having not thought about this before posting the question, I'll have to come back and answer this later. 

So what makes a good guitar string, is there really that much difference between all the different makes.  If so, what makes them so different?

If you by a new or used guitar, do you always make sure it has specific pickups for your needs, or do you always change them for a different make and model?  What do you prefer, and why??

Do you have a favourite brand of guitar pick? Do you always stick to one make and type?

How many of you play guitar through a bass amp, instead of a guitar amp? Anyone.

Ash, that would be fantastic if you could do any of those. Either articles or how to's would be extremely welcome.  The site does have an article system, which you should find a submit article link down the left hand side of the front page.  Or if you prefer you can just add them as regular posts in the forums.  It's entirely up to you.

A hypothetical question for you.

You have a grand to spend, you need to buy a guitar, a amp, and two pedals, (including leads etc)

What would you buy?  This can be new, or second hand, or a mix of both.
