How did you learn how to use the drums? Did you learn in school? Did you learn on your own? Youtube? Etc. Etc.

What are some good starter drums out there? What price range would you recommend someone have when wanting to buy starter drums for learning, not for including in a band or something like that?

I did myself. My dad gave me his old one, which I still have and I picked around on it until he bought me an electric one. I still mess with the acoustic one here and there, though.

What bands out there uses the most guitars when doing live shows? I ask because I once watched a live show DVD (guess it wasn't live when I saw it, lol) of The Cure and the lead singer brought out a different guitar each song it seemed like. What other bands do this a lot?

What was the first electric guitar that you have ever started with? Do you still have and use that guitar at all? Post pics if you have any!

My name is Shawn. I am 28 years old, male and I live in rural southern Illinois - USA. I have a couple of guitars and thought I'd join up I have a B.C. Rich Warlock Supreme electric and an acoustic as well. I am still learning and really cannot play any already made tunes. I have made my own tunes up but just for fun. I have no interest in starting a band or anything like that. I am into all sorts of music as well. Other than that, I am big into cycling whether by road bike or mountain bike. I am a photographer and I chase storms, including tornadoes. I run quite a few websites as well including blogs, forums, social networks and other sites.
