Board views
« on: April 26, 2015, 04:32:11 PM »
Been looking at the post views after aldridgeg pointed them out.  Seems some get some serious hits / Views. while others just don't get many at all.  I'm trying to work out why this happens, is it down to post titles, keywords etc. For example.

My Blackstar thread has been (Read 7584 times) in just a couple of weeks.

aldridgeg's An attempt at Little Wing thread (Read 5242 times) In just a few days.

Then there's some much older threads with very few hits, which bemuses me somewhat Anyway, I'll observe this for a while and see if I can get my head around it.  Also want to put some sort of board views stats block on here, got to build it first.

Thank You, "Guest" For Reading This Post.

I know for me personally, I don't click them all. I go to the Show unread posts link and then self-select the threads I'm interested in. So title makes a big difference to me. You should A/B test a post or two with different titles ;) - terrible guitar playing verbalised as terrible writing.

Pretty much same here, Scarebear...
A computer once beat me at chess.  As it turns out, though, it was no match for me at kick boxing...
