Do you mean things like the outro/final solo in Metallica's Fade To Black? That's the one thing I wished I taken the time to learn (or attempt at least :) )

In my opinion it is their best :) Actually, Fade To Black is my favourite song of all time ... by anybody. I'm going to be looking forward to that tutorial video! I better head over to YouTube and make sure I'm watching your account there! ;)

This forum needs a Like button. Or an OMFG button. One of those ;)

That is awesome and I'll be all over that by this time tomorrow. I'll have to dig up an article I wrote a few years ago that illustrates just what this means to me. I'll just say for now, you're awesome. :)

What I'm thinking of doing is recording the parts as I learn them into Reaper. If I manage to pull it all off (the upcoming fast part will be a challenge for me) then I'll have pieced together my favourite solo of all time. Then I'll be sending you virtual high-fives ;)

I'll share my audio recordings on SoundCloud hopefully.

Awesome. Also, I meant to share this link. This is the article I wrote back in 2010 that I referred to a day or so ago.
