Bands and guitar uses
« on: July 23, 2013, 03:52:54 AM »
What bands out there uses the most guitars when doing live shows? I ask because I once watched a live show DVD (guess it wasn't live when I saw it, lol) of The Cure and the lead singer brought out a different guitar each song it seemed like. What other bands do this a lot?

Seen this myself, but I'm guessing this is why the modelling guitar is becoming more popular. Take the Line 6 JTV for example, you can now have several guitars or tuning setups built into one guitar. Can save you an awful lot of money opposed to buying a collection of separate guitars.  ;)

I noticed the Cure guy has very nice looking guitars each time. I wonder if that was also a reason. My dad was watching the whole time (he is a guitar guy, owns quite a few) and he was more interested in seeing what new guitar the guy was bringing up next, haha.
