Blueridge BR-371 Parlor Guitar Review

The Br-371 is the latest in a series of high-end parlour guitars… But how does it fare against our rigorous testing? One look at the Blueridge range of guitars and it’s pretty obvious that they’re not messing around. It’s not […]

What do you need to do to learn blues guitar? Not much actually! In my honest opinion, I think it's one of the easiest styles to play on the guitar, which is great news for beginner-intermediate players. If you are already somewhat familiar with basic lead guitar techniques, you could be playing the blues very […]

I use rechargeable batteries in my wireless system and some pedals, but alkaline ones in my guitars. I'd almost run out of the Duracell ones ;)

Interesting.  So the idea of using alkaline in the guitars is because they hold the charge better than rechargeable, or some other reason?  I know the rechargeable batteries lose their charge over a period of time, or at least the older ones did.

Well if that is what's happening, then fair play to Gibson.  ;)

lol..  Yes wouldn't mind a Gibson myself either.

So I'm guessing "Epiphone Limited Lifetime warranty" doesn't cover the bits that break, moving parts and all that.  http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Les-Paul/Prophecy-Les-Paul-Custom-Plus-GX.aspx

That's still a damn good price for twelve of those batteries, especially when you look at the price of a single one in your local supermarket.  :o

Reminds me, I need to get a couple of button cell batteries for my Snark guitar tuner, from that link above.  Looks like the price has gone down for those, now only £5.99 so edited the post above.

H, nice one.  Yes hopefully it's a replacement pot.  Did you get it under their warranty?

Maybe they're sending you a new Gibson.

Learning to play the guitar involves learning to play chords on the guitar. How many chords should you learn? As much as you need to achieve your goals. Usually, the more you play, the more you'll want to learn. I usually recommend you start out with the beginner guitar chords, and work your way up […]
